Great golf weather is here! April ushered
in some of the best weather of the year and we're looking for it to get
even better May!
Shore9 Spring League has started! With a little
over 40 participants, this is our largest season yet! The group is great
and we are looking forward to the wonderul expereinces and friendships to come from it!
Staff Change at Shoreline: Over the past couple of years, many of you
had the opportunity to meet our general Manager Steve Janisch.
We're sad to say that he's accepted a new position at another facility but
pleased to say that we have welcomed Kyle Lightcap
to take the mantle at Shoreline Golf Links! He has overseen many different
courses and brings a wealth of experience and ideas to Shoreline that
should help us continue to improve for you.
Food and Beverage at Shoreline
is Open! Keep any eye out for golf specials with breakfast and lunch! Like our Food
to all who made it to the Easter Brunch! We had a wonderful spread
(pictured below) that was a true pleasure to be able to share with you. We
hope to see you again this weekend as we celebrate Mother's

On the Course:
Course Maintenance in April/May:
The Bunkers near the green on hole 18 are done!
We put in a cement base and improved drainage to help preserve the
integrity of the bunkers. If this holds up to the daily use and is
successful at preventing contamination due to surrounding wildlife we will
expand the project to other bunkers around the course.

We're hitting grass tees on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays now! Come
sharpen up your game and get ready for golf season to FINALLY begin!

Checking in Tip: "Arriving on time"
While not everybody feels the need to practice or warm up before
starting their round, it is still extremely helpful to check in at least 30
minutes early. To some, this may seem excessive, but to put it into
perspective this is almost the equivalent of being at the course and
accounted for in time to be called up third. Most places like to look three
times down from the group on the tee, to the group on deck, then the group
Being on Time helps prevent delays which occur when a person arrives at
their tee time. If you are checking in while your group is on the tee, you
Being on time also helps to immensely reduce the stress of rushing to
the tee. Planning to be on time gives you a buffer if something unexpected
happens on the road as well as unexpectedly long lines in the Pro Shop.
Remember this, the next time you make your tee time and have a fun, stress
free start to your round!
